blue.gif (290 bytes) 2008 - Brother Tasha Vanos PSP awarded  the ORDER OF AUSTRALIA MEDAL in the Australia Day Citizen Awards for service to the Greek community, particularly through AHEPA and through the promotion of Hellenic culture and traditions in Australia.

blue.gif (290 bytes)  2007 - The Queen's Birthday 2007 Honours List. Brother Dennis Patisteas was awarded the MEDAL OF THE ORDER OF AUSTRALIA (OAM)
For service to the Greek community through charitable, church, ex-service and business organisations.

blue.gif (290 bytes)  21 February 2003 - Testimonial Dinner in honour of Sister Christine Lynch of Chapter Arete, New South Australia  for her services to AHEPA over many years.

blue.gif (290 bytes) December 2002 - Brother John Kiosoglous MBE KSA AE appointed Chairman of SAMEAC (South Australian Multicultural and Ethnic Affairs Commission)

blue.gif (290 bytes)  3 October 2001 - Brother Tasha Vanos named AHEPAN of the Year.

blue.gif (290 bytes) 29 September -  6 October 2001 - 47th National Convention held in Melbourne.

blue.gif (290 bytes) 10 June 2001 - Brother Nicholas Xynias was appointed an Officer (AO) of the Order of Australia, for service to the community, particularly as a leader in the areas multiculturalism, migrant welfare, reconciliation and aged care.

blue.gif (290 bytes) 30 March 2001 - New South Wales - two scholarships were presented for excellence in Modern Greek in 2000, to Josephine Roumeliotis from Sydney University and Lydia Natsis from the University of New South Wales

blue.gif (290 bytes) 27 March 2001 - New South Wales - AHEPA Prize awarded for exceptional performance in units above 100-level in the Greek language was presented to Ms Kerry Gouskos.

blue.gif (290 bytes) 21 March 2001 - South Australia - AHEPA Award for Academic Excellence in SSABSA Stage 2 Modern Greek (Extended) for 2000, was presented to Maria Papacharalambous.

blue.gif (290 bytes) 3 November 2000 - Brother Tasha Vanos, Chairman of the Hellenic Tribute Inc, was presented with a plaque for Supreme Excellence on behalf of the Committee and the Hellenic community. The presentation was made at a dinner held to honour all the Sponsor Donors.
