Public Lecture
On 23 July 2006, AHEPA Victoria remembered the tragic events of the 1974 Turkish Invasion of Cyprus. The Melbourne University lecturer Ms Maria Herodotou spoke on:
The Turkish Invasion of Cyprus through the works of the poets and writers.

The lecture was followed by a musical program including songs of Cyprus


The Greek Historian Adonis Georgiadis visited Australia in May 2006. AHEPA organised and presented Mr Georgiadis to the Community who gave lectures in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

A program dedicated to the Greek Poets and Writers was given by AHEPA on the 14 August 2006. The Poets recited samples of their work and this was followed by a musical program.
