The Daughters Reports exemplified the excellent work undertaken by the Chapters and their members’ dedication.  Following is a sample of their Philanthropic endeavours.

2005 AHEPAN of the year

Brother Emanuel Cordatos was born in the small country town of Hillston in  the south western part of New South Wales.

His parents were from Kythera, they met and married in NSW. They moved from Mildura to the Sydney suburb of Marrickville.

Emanuel as a child suffered from Rheumatic fever which in later life restricted many of his activities.

He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering having worked as an Engineer for the Defence Department in both Canberra and Sydney.

Brother Emanuel joined AHEPA (Chapter Prometheus) in the early sixties, continuing his AHEPA activities once he took up resident in Canberra. The because President of Chapter Phoenix and served as a committee member of the ACT Greek Church Community. On returning to Sydney, he transferred to a Defence job and then decided to take early retirement . He joined the local AHEPA Chapter Heracles, acted as secretary and then went on to become the Grand Secretary for seven years.

During this period he developed Mature onset Diabetes, but still offered his services as secretary to the Canterbury Bankstown branch of Diabetes Australia, from mid 1990's and is still there).

Brother Emanuel then returned to his mother chapter Prometheus, to serve as their secretary and is still the secretary.

He is currently the AHEPA Diabetes/Thalassaemia Committee treasurer, supports all committees and their functions and his comment is 'I am not as active as I used to be'. He also served as Chapter President of Chapter Apollon in 2004/05.
