ACT AHEPA DAY Raffle raises $1,160

By Sis Frankie Daglis, Vice President Chapter Elya No 7

It was all smiles at the AHEPA ACT Territory Convention held on 14 August 2022 at the Hellenic Club.  Members were delighted at the success of the AHEPA Day raffle which raised $1,160 to be donated to a charity to be decided at the next meeting.  The raffle was drawn at the conclusion of the convention and prizes were presented to the winners.  A big thank you goes to the ACT AHEPA members who supported the raffle by donating money and goods to be included in the hampers.  Also, a big thank must go to NSW AHEPA members who supported the raffle by buying tickets.

After a two-year hiatus, AHEPA ACT held a convention in August 2022.  The atmosphere was positive and signaled the resumption of our activities with great enthusiasm in keeping with our mission to support needy charities in our community.
